Cooking tips:

  • Serve medium rare for a tender and juicy finish.
  • Marinate prior to cooking and cook for 3-4 minutes each side.
  • Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Pairs nicely with citrus, vinegars, wine, olive oil, flavoured butters and rich umami flavours e.g. tomatoes, jus, soy, oyster sauce.

      Strip loin

      Loved the strip loin, seared both sides and put in the oven for 10 mins at 190deg salt and pepper, delicious.
      The Boar mince I had with spaghetti Bolognese and that was great too. I have more Australian meat on the way.

      Loved the Strip Loin

      Loved the Strip Loin. Light coat of olive oil, sprinkle of salt & pepper, straight on a hot grill barbie. Nothing else required imo. Few minutes each side for medium rare, rest 5 minutes. Serve with a fresh salad and pair with a glass of Sangiovese and good company. Perfect.
