Large Paroo shanks

The Paroo shanks were great. Cooked in a slow cooker until the meat fell off the bone .

Kangaroo Tail & Shanks

Every week I prepare a dinner meal
for the staff at the Carlton Wine Room. I cooked shanks and tail served with red cabbage, mashed potato and beetroot chutney.
All the staff said that the meal was exceptional.

Incredible Kevyn, sounds divine! Thank you for the feedback.

Pretty good

Not as sweet as lamb shanks and not as much far but very tasty. Were even better reheated. Cooked with juniper berries, currants and red wine. Use any venison shank recipe.

Awesome Kangaroo and Venison shanks slow cooked. Thanks again :)

Great service, packaging and tasty meat. Very happy customers.

Beautiful rubbed in salt and pepper, seared and slow cooked in an iron pan/stove with onions, spices, apple cider vinegar and water for a few hours at 150c.

Thanks for the great feedback and the excellent tips!

Expectedly there is a lot of bone and not so much meat. It is nice when cooked slowly and gradually in a stew or other meal such as a hotpot.
