This product is vacuum sealed fresh. Once opened, consume within 2-3 days. You may be frozen prior to use-by.

Very delicious and tender

I’ve sous vide it for 24 hours at 74 C, then quickly grilled it on the BBQ for a bit of crust. Served on a bed of Pomme de Paris, with a nice dark gravy and green beans on the side.

Superb

Delicious, succulent and velvety.....it has it's own unique flavour that cannot be compared to any other cut. The only fault is the bone is too long and doesn't fit into my largest pot. I have to cook it with a portion of the bone poking out. Please make them 3cm shorter! Regardless of this, I will be back for more as they're too delicious 😋

bit disappointed

did long slow cook, but felt the meat was a little hard, not soft and fall off bone like lamb shanks.

great cut of meat

I did a basic braise for these (carrots, onions, celery, tomato, red wine, garlic, stock) and it turned out great. Meat falling off the bone and falling apart. As it's a fairly thick cut of meat I'd recommend sort of shredding the meat and letting it sit in the sauce for a while to allow it to soak in a bit more.
