The Wild Venison & Mushroom Lasagna is great to have in the freezer - it’s very large & as Seniors - when it is served with a Greek salad we have it over two nights.
Recently purchased 10 ready-made meals and overall I’ve been really impressed. The meals were delivered on time and very well packed, with good portion sizes — particularly for a big man like myself!
The standout meals for me were:
Wild Venison Thai Massaman Curry + Rice – 10/10 ⭐
Goat Korma + Rice – 10/10 ⭐
Kangaroo Madras + Rice – 10/10 ⭐
Wild Venison & Mushroom Lasagna – 9/10 – Great flavour, although it was a little stodgy.
Wild Venison Stroganoff with Pasta – 8/10 – Tasty, but unfortunately quite watery.
Overall, the quality and variety have been excellent, and I’m definitely looking forward to trying some of the new menu items. I would absolutely buy again.
My only criticism would be the amount of plastic used in the packaging — there seemed to be quite a lot of it, so hopefully this is something that can be reduced or improved over time.
Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be back for more!
This is fresh, excellent quality venison at a great price. I cooked it in a traditional Greek clay pot with potatoes, baby onions and kefalograviera cheese. Succulent and tasty.
