I was exhausted after a long day so no fancy sides, just pretty rare venison. It was WOW.
I basted it with a bit of rosemary, garlic and butter. . Will be buying it again!
Overall Australian Meats has exceeded expectations, delivery was well explained, it arrived well packed with reusable/non toxic freezer bags.

I also HUGELY appreciate their transparency in where these animals are sourced, that they are wild, better for the environment, and that they are Australian owned. Let’s stop supporting the giants of Cole’s and Woolworths who are just scalping us and support local.
Oh AND, with my dad being coeliac the fact the products are gluten free is a huge plus too. 🙌

I made a simple bolognese pasta sauce and my friend who has been vego since childhood - now wanting to try and add meat back in had a bowl - It was a success! Not overpowering, blended in well, I actually found it to be less intense than beef mince in a good way.

Was perfect for a lazy night when I couldn’t be bothered thinking of seasonings.
I didn’t find the pepper to be overpowering at all as another reviewer mentioned. I ended up adding garlic and butter - Cooked rare it was great. Far better than the supermarket brand I’ve tried.

Delicious wild boar sausages, definitely will buy again and try the jalapeño boar sausages next.
Did not find them dry at all as another reviewer mentioned - you wouldn’t want to overcook them.

I am not a huge meat eater but decided to trial. I personally wouldn't buy to cook so these meals are very good value & taste hearty.

We love slow cooking this! It has become a fornightly staple :). We love sucking the marrow out of the bones too!

Made this lovely curry in no time using this lean healthy meat and pataks paste. Sat it for 24 hours and it was tender and delicious.

I did one of those survey group sessions many, many, many years ago about venison. We got to take some home and because my neighbour and I did it together we cooked it on their fire pit. Absolutely loved it! Was never able to get it till now and OH MY!! My husband was dubious as he does not really recall having the venison (I did say MANY lol) but we received our order and I could not wait to cook it. Superb - will probably reduce to 3 mins each side before putting in the oven as I prefer rare to medium rare but was adorable.
If I can suggest ways of cooking your meats be added to each eg slow cooking diced venison - how long? what temp? in the slow cooker etc.

First time trying your wild boar, a bit concerned buying a pack as I am a single and you can't refreeze it so I am eating this beautiful pork today and tomorrow. Beautifully lean, so minimal wastage. I'm cutting back on sodium and happy to say the flavour of the meat was so good no seasonings needed. Just pan fried in a little olive oil, had with salad. Magnificent.

Great quality and value, lean and flavoursome. Excellent for Chilli Con Carñe. So happy, already ordered again!
