Size

8 point wild venison rack is something a little different for the dinner table. It is best roasted in a hot oven and served medium rare, similar to how you would roast a lamb rack.

Cooking tips:

  • Use a rub of spices such as crushed peppercorn, cumin and coriander prior to cooking.

Packaging & Storage:

This product is vacuum sealed fresh. Once opened, consume within 2 days. You may freeze prior to use-by.

Venison rack delight

Leaves lamb in its wake for value and ease of cooking. No costly fat to trim or otherwise eat. No flare-ups on BBQ. Juicy, delicious dark meat flavour. Surprised my lamb-loving spouse how good it is and we have the green light for more orders. If the option was there, it would have been 6 x stars for sustainably managed wild harvesting great job Aussie Meats👍👍

Fantastic meats

I ordered the venison racks, venison filet, 500gr of diced goat, and a ready meal…(curry Goat Korma) , 2 wild boar filet…I was very impressed by the quality of the meats…I m a retired (in Australia) French Chef and been cooking everything you can think of….the Goat Korma was really good (but too much onions in dish) and the rest of the meats were fantastic…the delivery took a week, which I expected it but when it arrived I was again very impressed with the packaging! 2 large ice packs and a thermo bag to keep everything fresh in a real tight secure carton box….delivery was made by a refrigerated courrier…the whole experience was fantastic and I will buy my venison , diced goat and wild boar from the Australian meats in the future. I love the idea of buying and supporting the farmers, cause they do need it…. You guys deserve recognition…keep up the good work! Thank you
