Australian Wild Boar is lean and tasty due to their natural diet of nuts, berries and native vegetation. They are free to roam without confinement and are ethically harvested in their own environment, producing a naturally tender and flavoursome pork. Boneless leg roast is minimum 2kg and is best served medium. Roast in the oven or pot roast.

Look up boar taint before buying

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately I had never cooked this before and found out about boar taint. Even after marinading in wine and aromatics overnight, I slow cooked this and it stunk the entire house out and was hard to eat due to the smell. I read that younger boar meat does not have this problem or female wild pig.

Curried to perfection

I slow cooked this piece of boar, which I cut into large pieces, in a curry that I usually do with goat & it was delicious
