I cooked the shank in the slow cooker with mushrooms, onions and some herbs. The meat just fell ovff the bone and was delicious

A good solid meat! After slices with the venison roast on Christmas Day, it was easily carved and served in other ways. I liked chunks with pasta and salad.
With a lot of different protein preferences coming to Christmas dinner, I was struggling with thinking I'd have to cook turkey for some, fish for others. But the venison rack solved the problem because the fish-eaters were happy to eat wild-sourced meat! The venison rack was easy to cook, tender, juicy and simply delicious. I won't be waiting until next Christmas to buy it again.
