Over the weekend, we cooked the Venison Roast the taste and tenderness of the meat was divine. In my opinion, venison meat is the best meat to eat, and it goes down excellent with a glass of red wine.
We’ve been wanting to try kangaroo tail for a long time. Pleasantly surprised to see that we could buy it from Australian Meats. We cooked it in an Instant Pot using the pressure cooker mode for less than an hour. It was delicious. So tender. I’ve never been overly impressed by the usual cuts of roo you can buy in the supermarket but this was so different. Scrumptious. Will definitely buy it again.
This is a regular buy and meal for the family mix with lamb or chicken Yiros from butchers. Goes a long way 500g of each makes 4 really decent size yiros and the flavour is amazing kids love it also.
