First ordered through a friend 1kg to "try" out. I braised it slowly in tomato passata with chicken stock, onion, garlic and a can of diced tomatoes for about 3 hours. Very meaty, meat fell off the bone. Wife and I absolutely loved it. Then we ordered a bigger lot for friends and ourselves. The order arrived on the right day. No problem. Very happy with the service. Will order again. TX

I have bought the wild boar ham on several occasions and I y s always fantastic and of a consistent quality. Tried the venison ham and it was wonderful. Will definitely buy it again.

Wild Venison Salami (spicy)

Haven't tried the backstrap yet, only the venison roast and it was fantastic. Easy to cook tasted fabulous.

Thornwood Wild Boar Boneless Leg Roast

What a great idea to have a starter pack to sample a few different tasty aussie meats. Everything was top quality, well packed and delivered by cold courier directly to my door. I will never buy supermarket kangaroo meats again.
The strip loin was the favorite, so tender and tasty followed by the wild boar cutlets, sweet and juicy.

I made a large batch of pulled barbacoa with two venison shoulders, was amazing. Rave reviews from the entire extended family.

The meat came beautifully packaged with LARGE print, describing the meat, amount and use by, etc. a small detail much appreciated. I rubbed the pieces with lemon juice and marinated it in a yoghurt and spice mix for 24 hours. I then slow cooked it with a spice and curry mix. Next time I’ll try a Japanese curry. The meat was very tender, melt in the mouth with no gamely flavour at all.

Just cooked 1 rack for dinner - absolutely amazing - no strong taste - will be ordering more and filling my freezer. Racks were completely cleaned of all fat - made a beautiful sauce - husband and I are in heaven. Please people try these racks - you’ll never but lamb again
