Wild Goat and Eggplant Tagine - Ready Meal

I learned a while ago to cook goat low and slow. So a puff of white flour in the oven bag. Coated the goat with olive oil and a middle eastern rub, couple of cut lemons into the oven bag and in with the goat. 6 hours at 150°C and it fell off the bone.

Delivery was cool upon arrival, the back strap we received was outstanding, top quality meat, will be ordering again

The venison shoulder makes a tender and succulent roast for us humans.
And the family dogs don't miss out either because I use 3/4 of the shoulder for our roast and then cut the (raw) trimmings into strips and dehydrate them for treats.
The whole family is happy!!

Smoked Wild Venison Fillet

Slow cooked for 4hours with a diced potatoe/carrot and herbs.
Everybody loves it.

Nice sizes chunks of venison in a delicious Stroganoff sauce. Highly recommended.
