Love the venison

This was my childhood in France revisited! My grandfather shooting deer and my grandmother roasting it. Wow, your meat is just fantastic. I slow cooked the shoulder roast. Lots of garlic, bacon and red wine. Superb . I roasted the back strap very briefly , to keep it rare on the inside. Delicious. Tomorrow I will slow cook the osso bucco , no doubt it will be fantastic!
I am so glad I found you! Next I will try the goat and cook a Moroccan Tagine .

Great lean and tasty meat, and not gamey at all

I slow cooked this from lunch time until about 6pm on low and omg the meat just fell off the bones. My youngest (2 years) came back into the kitchen with her plate still full of rice but meat gone, asking for more. My middle child (almost 4) was CLEANING it all up. My oldest didnt have so much but then the next day was begging for the leftovers for lunch. Nothing was wasted. It was so much better than any beef or lamb I had slow cooked

I put it into my slow cooker still mostly frozen and a couple of hours later it was already softened right up and you could see how tender it was going to be. It made the best goal curry ive ever made
