I used it as an oxtail substitute and it worked well. After slow cooking, it was very tender. I was surprised, though, at the amount of fat that I had to skim off the top of the dish.
The wild boar cutlets and roast was very nice. The smoked venison and metwurst are absolutely delicious. We are just not a fan of sausages made with maize and fennel but thats just a personnal taste. Will be ordering again soon.
It was quite tasty but meat was a little tough.
I made my own with the goat meat/goat bone in and it was super tender so not sure why the ready made one was a little tough.
The gnocchi is divine and the curry is delicious
We have ordered meat from Australian Meats a few times now and the wild Boar has on most occasions been on our shopping list it makes for a good feast and the whole family loves it.
